What is a hit counter?

A Hit Counter keeps track of the number of times your page has been viewed by anyone visiting your site. If the same person visits your site 20 times in a day, it will record 20 hits.

To add a Hit Counter to your page, go to the Tool Bar and select Hit Counter.

The Hit Counter is only updated once per day so you won't see the it growing immediately.

What Is the Difference Between Hits and Visits?

The Visitor Counter shows how many total visitors have seen your site.

Visits are the number of different visitors you've had to your site each day. If your friend visits your site one day, then comes back on another day, you receive two visits. If that same friend visits your site twice in one day, then you only receive 1 visit. You can check your visits in the Stats section of the Lobby.

Both hits and visits are only updated once per day, so you won't see them growing immediately.
